We know what we're good at

Now that the world is slowly returning to some state of normal, whatever the new normal is, we're manifesting and reflecting on what we've learned over the last two years. It's been a crazy ride of ups and downs, highs and lows and everything in between, but one thing has remained... our relentless drive to win, fueled by passion and consistency.

There is one way in which we are winning, daily, and that is confidently knowing what we're good at. The past two years' constant pivot has taught us a few things, which we've wanted to share with you for a while now, but now that we've come to another pivotal moment, the time is right to let you know what we've learned and how that has shaped us into highly skilled client and account management experts.

But first, let's talk about that pivotal moment we're in.

Suddenly, we're seeing an influx of requests, enquiries, opportunities and more. It's like the world decided to switch Covid-19 off and carry on from where we left off early in 2020. We are incredibly grateful for the return to normal business, but there are challenges. Working from home is one just of them. Yes, we stay connected virtually and with platforms such as Slack, Asana, Monday.com and more, it's easy to stay engaged with team members, but the personal interaction and ability to just pop over to someone's desk to ask a quick question has somewhat disappeared. It's very evident that the workforce is potentially never going back to working in an office full-time and that's ok, but how do we separate our personal lives from work, when your work is in your personal space? It's something we're still struggling with. Nevertheless, we're keeping calm and carrying on, even if it is from home.

What have we learned? The short and sweet version.

  1. Balance is key.

  2. A positive mindset will always get you through tough times. Even if only mentally.

  3. Complacency is detrimental to your future.

  4. Smart work always pays off - maybe not now, but it will one day.

  5. We love project management.

  6. Working with children in the room is impossible.

  7. You never know what's going to happen tomorrow.

  8. There aren't a lot of people with the ability to lead.

  9. Everyone is competing for the chance to show greatness.

  10. Client and account management is what we're really good at!

There are a lot of elements about our work that we love, but one thing that really stands out, is our ability to manage client expectations, run projects like heroes, and tie many strings together for everyone to reach a common goal. We run and implement strategies like experts and we love every minute of doing it!
