Stellenbosch Square is giving back this winter!

On 6 July we will be hosting Tygerberg 104fm for a live broadcast to kick off Stellenbosch Square's Winter Blanket Drive. The aim of this campaign is to collect as many blankets as possible for our furry friends.

The Animal Welfare Society of Stellenbosch will be joining us, as the beneficiary of this amazing initiative. AWSS is member-based, independent of government and industry. For over 61 years they have persistently carried out their mission to recognise animals as living beings with the right to a good quality life. They have achieved this through veterinary care, Inspectorate (enforcing the law), education, and running a Kennel, Cattery, and a successful Adoption programme, which every year places hundreds of animals in apt and loving homes. Christone, Kennel Manager will be joining our team, alongside Jannie Kruger, proprietor of Stellenbosch Square, to chat about how this drive can change many animals' lives. Kruger will be chatting about the centre and how it has become the charming old town's favourite place to shop.

The campaign will be kicking off on this day and will continue to run until 31 July. Anyone can come and drop off their blankets at centre management offices, after which it will be donated to AWSS.

We are proud to be facilitating the campaign, as well as being the creators of all creative collateral and communication around the activation.

See you on 6 July between 9am and 12pm! Who knows, you could be interviewed live on radio and stand a chance to win some amazing spot prizes!
